Demo!!!

"Old basement"
As you can tell the above picture is of the "old" basement/foundation for the house. After talking with the new contractor and among ourselves. And seeing that the cost for the new excavation is going to be the same if we go to the right of the old one... or to the left... or just to demo it out... and put it where we wanted it to begin with. And seeing as we are going to have to live with this the rest of our lives. We have come up with the perfect place yet again.

As you'll notice it's the SAME picture. :) Yes we have decided to demo out the old and put it where we wanted it to begin with. It will feel good to have the walls come down. Out with the old and in with the new.

If all works out Demo day will be Tuesday the 25th and the concrete guy is good to go for next week.

OK here we go again... construction of basement/foundation #2! Woo HOO!!! I'll be posting regularly during the process with photos and updates. If the workers are working, I'll be snapping shots and posting that night or the next day!
